STOMP 2022, our 25th annual harvest celebration for Sunstone members and their guests, took place on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at the Sunstone Villa from 8:30am to 1:00pm, after a two-year hiatus. Guests experienced harvest firsthand, going out into the vineyard to pick the grapes and then coming back to the Villa lawn to stomp them. The half-day event also included breakfast, lunch, live music, and special flights of never-before-tasted future release wines and some of our most exclusive Library vintages. The day’s schedule is below, with photographs from past STOMPs.
STOMP was limited to 150 guests and could not accommodate children or pets. A limited number of VIP Experience tickets were offered on a first come, first served basis.
STOMP Timeline: Saturday, September 17th, 2022
8:30am – Arrival
Check-in at the Villa gate. Enjoy a light breakfast, coffee and our famous “Sunstone Sunrise” cocktail.
9:15am – Welcome to STOMP
Welcome to Sunstone STOMP and overview of the day’s festivities.
9:30am – In the Vineyard – Let’s Pick!
Group splits into three teams for a vineyard tour and picking competition.
10:00am – Grand Tasting of Future and Library Wines at West Oak
Enjoy amazing wines from never-before-tasted future releases to some of our most exclusive library vintages!
11:00am – Grape Stomping, Live Music, and Lunch on the Villa Lawn
Enjoy wine service, lunch catered by High on the Hog, live music by Out of the Blue, and, of course, stomping grapes!
1:00pm – Departure
