As you approach the Sunstone Villa, you’re transported to the sun-drenched hills of Provence. Every stone, every beam, every tile tells a story of its own. The limestone walls, salvaged from historic chateaus in Aix Provence, Normandy, and the Loire Valley, whisper tales of French nobility and centuries-old traditions. The wood beams and rafters, reclaimed from a 19th-century Queen Victorian lavender factory in Avignon, carry the subtle fragrance of their aromatic past.
The Sunstone Villa is more than just a building; it’s a dream realized. Founders Fred and Linda Rice embarked on a five-year odyssey, scouring the French countryside for the perfect materials to bring their vision to life. Each artifact was carefully selected from quarries and reclamation yards, ensuring that every element of the Villa would exude authenticity and charm.

Villa and cottage stays
The Villa includes five primary suites, each complete with a private bath, fine Mascioni italian linens and bedding, luxury bath essentials, and authentic French antiques. The Cottage is comprised of three suites: Champagne, Rhône, and Bordeaux.
