Returns, Cancellations & Shipping

RETURN POLICY

We will replace or refund the customer for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or otherwise deemed to be unsatisfactory. We ask the customer to return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Please send an email to info@sunstonewinery.com to arrange for the return of corked or flawed product.

Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. Please contact us at (805) 688-9463 for return instructions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any order cancelled within 24 hours of emailed confirmation/receipt may be cancelled without penalty. Please contact info@sunstonewinery.com if you need to cancel your order. Any order that has been confirmed by Sunstone Winery and is cancelled after 24 hours will incur a 15% restocking fee/cancellation fee, unless it has been shipped. If you wish to cancel your order and it is in route to you, please refuse the shipment and we will credit you the cost of the product minus and all shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee.

SHIPPING

Shipping & Handling charges are noted during the online check-out process. Wine orders require the signature of an adult. We strongly encourage you to provide us, whenever possible, with a commercial address for the delivery of your order.  If no one is available to receive the package and it can not be left in a secure location, two subsequent attempts to deliver will be made. After that, the package will be returned to us.

Due to state laws, we are only able to ship wine to states that allow direct shipment. In addition, each state imposes limitations on the amount of wine any particular adult may receive by direct shipment, as well as additional taxes and charges that may not otherwise apply in your state.
