Blend in Love Workshop
Over Valentine’s weekend 2014 our winemaker invited couples to an intimate EROS wine blending experience on the grounds of the Sunstone Villa. EROS (named after the Greek god of love) is Sunstone’s signature Bordeaux style wine, and that weekend couples were given the opportunity to create their own unique EROS blend. Starting with a glimpse into the origins, history and traditional use of each grape varietal, couples worked together to create a distinctive blend to take home in a wax-sealed bottle, from their own table for two with sweeping views of the Santa Ynez Valley.
Participants also received two tickets to the J TE’ AIME EROS event in the wine caves, with chocolate and macaron pairings alongside Sunstone wines.
LOVEbird’s Getaway Package
That year a limited number of all-inclusive LOVEbird’s Getaway Villa Packages were offered alongside the workshop. Each one included:
- A two-night stay in one of the Villa’s private suites
- Wine, snacks and breakfast baskets daily
- In-room services such as massage, arranged in advance
- A place for two at a Blend in Love workshop
- A place for two at the J TE’ AIME EROS release event
