Sunstone ELIXIR

Something worth handing to everyone

A sparkling blueberry-lemon pour with no alcohol in it, made for the hour when the light goes long and nobody wants the night to turn.

Poured now at the Sunstone Wine Lounge, 1294 Coast Village Road.

The occasion

Everyone at the table.
The same beautiful glass.

The designated driver. The guest with a presentation in the morning. The one who decided this year would be different. Somebody always ends up holding the glass that says they are sitting this one out.

Wine relaxes. Coffee energizes. Sunstone ELIXIR was built for the occasion neither one was designed to serve — so the pour that arrives is the one everybody wanted, and nothing about it reads as a consolation.

What it is

Dry and bright, not sweet

Sparkling blueberry lemon. Dry and bright rather than sweet. The colour comes off a pressed-blueberry base, not a dye.

Zero alcohol. Zero added sugar. Twelve ounces.

The no-added-sugar line is about the can. A mocktail built on it may carry sugar from whatever else goes into the glass.

Adaptogens and nootropics — lion’s mane and cordyceps, two functional mushrooms — alongside a few amino acids. Yerba mate is the source of the caffeine in the can.

Designed to support calm focus and clean energy.

Everyone experiences a beverage differently. The best way to know whether it is for you is to try it.

Inside the can

Named, not explained

Adaptogens and nootropics, a few amino acids, and a base of pressed blueberry. Below is what each one is. We do not attach an outcome to an ingredient.

Pressed blueberry

The base. The colour is fruit, not a dye.

Lion’s mane

A functional mushroom. One of two adaptogens.

Cordyceps

The second mushroom, and the second adaptogen.

Amino acids

A few of them, in the formula.

Yerba mate

The source of the caffeine in the can.

Three ways it is poured

One can, three services

How it is poured

Cold, over ice, in a real glass

01

Chill it

Twelve ounces, straight from the fridge.

02

Pour it over ice

Into a glass worth using. The colour is a pressed-blueberry base, not a dye.

03

Garnish, or add a spirit

A garnish that earns its place, or a premium spirit for evening service.

Zero added sugar is a claim about the can. Whatever the bar adds to a built drink is part of it too.

Why now

The table changed before the menu did

54%

of U.S. adults drink alcohol — the lowest share since Gallup began tracking it in 1939.

20%

of drinkers chose a non-alcoholic beer, wine or spirit instead of alcohol in the past year.

Gallup, Americans’ Drinking Remains at Record Low, 20 August 2026.

This is an occasion being added, not one being given up. The drink it replaces is water, soda, or nothing at all.

Before you ask

The honest answers

No. Zero alcohol.

No — it is dry and bright rather than sweet. Sparkling blueberry lemon.

The can has zero added sugar. A mocktail built on it may carry sugar from whatever else goes into the glass, so ask whoever is pouring.

A base of pressed blueberry. The colour is the fruit, not a dye.

There is caffeine in it, and yerba mate is the source.

Whether it keeps you awake, we are not going to guess at in print.
