All of these wines are available for purchase individually, but you can save 32% by buying all 4 together for just $99. Enjoy!
CUCUMBER FETA SMOKED SALMON BITES
Paired With: SUNSTONE 2020 SAUVIGNON BLANC
Your guests will love this fresh and light “finger food” appetizer. The cucumber notes in the wine perfectly complement the sliced cucumber topping while the candied lemon rind in the dish meshes well with the lemongrass notes in the wine. Plus, feta cheese is a natural pairing with Sauvignon Blanc. You’ll be making this one over and over again!
PEPPERONI PIZZA ON THE GRILL
Paired With: SUNSTONE 2019 SOLEIL ROUGE
As longtime members know, Soleil Rouge is our popular Super Tuscan-style wine, which is 71% Sangiovese. Sangiovese is a natural pairing for almost any Italian food, but especially anything with red sauce. The reason this pairing works so well is the high acidity in the tomato sauce matches the high acidity in the wine. Plus, the pepper notes in the wine match the spiciness of the pepperoni. Instead of baking your pizza in the oven, try this recipe on the grill using fresh naan as your crust!
THE SUNSTONE SMASH BURGER
Paired With: SUNSTONE 2019 SYRAH, SYV
An oldie, but goodie- The Sunstone Smash Burger. We created this recipe from scratch a couple years ago and it continues to delight. Burgers can pair well with many different reds, but we are partial to pairing this one with our Syrahs. Our just released SYV Syrah has peppery and spicy notes that match well with the seasoning in the burger, while the oak and smoky notes in the wine match the grilled flavors.
BLUEBERRY LEMON POUND CAKE
Paired With: SUNSTONE 2020 GRENACHE ROSÉ
This rich dessert is exactly what it sounds like- full of lemon and blueberry flavor. The fruit notes in the Grenache Rosé (raspberry, peach, grapefruit) combine with the lemon and blueberry in the dish to create a virtual fruit explosion on your palate. Rosé is also light and crisp, which is a great way to end a meal, especially in warm weather. Enjoy!
